Cleared my bookshelves, discovered paraphernalia from a few years ago which reminded me of the time when JE fandom featured relatively prominently in my student life.
In retrospect, I’d like to call that period of time “Exercises in Characterisation: Japanese Pop Culture’s Fictionalisation of Real People and the Pretty Boy Archetype”. It also came with a complementary module I now call “Preliminary Discourse on Band Bromance”.
